According to the Wyoming
Game and Fish Commission, “wolves (Canis lupus) and/or wolf
hybrids may not be possessed, imported or sold.” Wyoming
Statute §23-1-103 states: "There shall be no private
ownership of live animals classified in this act as big or trophy
game animals or of any wolf or wolf hybrid". According to
the Commission, the hybrid felines would also be considered exotic
and require permitting (307-473-3417) per chapter 10 regulations.
