NJ bans ownership
of exotic cats and wolves, but does not mention anything about
their hybrids. I could not find a NJ-specific definition of hybrid,
either, so I can only assume that you could use the USDA definition
for NJ, which would consider hybrid exotic cats as domestic. NJ,
of course, allows ownership of domestic cats and dogs without
permit or regulation. NJ seems to be more concerned with hybrid
birds.
