Conneticut
Connecticut law is
confusing. The list of potentially dangerous animals does not
include the serval, but is not considered inclusive. It can be
assumed that the laws applying to bengals apply to the other hybrid
felines. In which case, “no hybrid is legal in the State
unless certified by an internationally recognized multiple-cat
domestic feline breeding association as being without wild parentage
for a minimum of four prior generations an internationally recognized
multiple-cat domestic feline breeding association as being without
wild parentage for a minimum of four prior generations”.
Hybrids of these later generations are not considered to be vaccinated
for rabies. Wolf hybrids are also illegal. (Sec. 26-40a.)
