This
site was created by a group of individuals dedicated to preserving
our rights to own hybrid crosses of domestic animal breeds and
their compatible wild species. Animal rights advocates are slowly
eroding our rights to animal ownership in many states and counties.
Our goal is to act as a clearinghouse of current legislation on
a state by state basis (and as work progresses, other countries)
and to act as an educational and advocacy forum to protect our
rights and those of our pets. We all have a voice in changing
and fighting laws that impact our beloved animals.
Current state
laws can be found by clicking on the map. Please check back frequently
for legislative alerts that may impact your rights to own hybrids.
Although Federal law and USDA code define wild to domestic crosses
as domestic, some states define our pets as dangerous or choose
to ban them. It is only through education that we can rectify
this injustice.
Please remember
that county and city codes override state law, so it is imperative
that potential owners check their local laws.
